WASHINGTON: On April 17,1992 about 125 persons including ladies and students and learned Sikhs from India, England, Canada and East Africa in connection with the celebrations of “International Sikh Youth Symposium which were held in Washington Metropolitan area They visited the premises of the WS. US.A. offices located in the inter. national Sikh Sect Building. Al their visiting arrangements were made by Dr. Ujaggar Singh

Bawa of Washington Sikh Center and the management of Sikh Foundation Virginia and Guru ‘Nanak Foundation of Maryland. In the Secretariat building they ‘were cordially given reception and a brief report was read out by Lachman Singh Aula. In the group was Sardar Saran Singh retired IAS at present Editor of the “Sikh Review” published in Calcutta.

He came from India to attend this nu Symposium. He suggested that Reference Library be established and he assured to publish some News and articles about this office in the coming issue of the Sikh Review. In the evening of April 17,1992 the function was held at Gurdwara of Guru Nanak Foundation and Students from the ‘various part of the world joined in debates on _ Sikhism. Lt Col .S Joginder Singh Mann father of Simranjit $.Mann of Sri Hem Kunt Foundation President also addressed the Sikh congregation and narrated the very Pitiful State Affairs of the Punjab ‘On the other hand he was pleased {to note the Sikh spirit of the Sikh Youth,

Dr Sardar Singh Ahuja, Chairman of G.N.F. welcomed Sardar Mann and all those participated in ‘the symposium.
