AMRITSAR (PTI) A group of about 1000 Sikh pilgrims led by Darshan Singh Issapur a senior member of the Sikh organization Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) visits Pakistan on May 27 to observe Martyrdom day of Guru Anun Dev the fifth Sikh Guru.

The group will to return India on June five Another group of 500 pilgrims led by another member of the SGPC will visit Pakistan from June 20 to 29 to observe the death anniversary of the revolutionary Maharaja Ranjit Singh who ruled Punjab and also fought against the British during the nineteenth century.

Besides visiting Gurdwara Dhera Sahib Lahore both the groups will also visit Nanakana Sahib and Panja Sahib to pay their obeisance before returning to India.
