S. MOHAN NARIAN SINGH KAPOOR takes pride in mentioning that he and his family had lived at Mahalla Aghapura of Multan which was established by Bhai Nand Lal Ji, the great scholar of the Court of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He also claims that his soninlaw, Preet Mohan Singh and his brotherinlaw, Mohan Daya Khanna is direct dependents of Bhai Nand Lal Ji but one thing is evident that the religious thoughts of their family reflect the effect of Bhai Sahib Ji. Every older member of their family had written one Guru Granth Sahib in hand when the printing presses were not in use.

  1. Kapoor’s father S. Jagat Narian was a Sehjdhari Sikh. Mr. Kapoor was divisional accountant with Western Railway before migrating to U.S.A. in 1976. He and his family did every odd job before establishing a successful business of convenient stores. But one thing goes to the credit of Mr. Kapoor that he never sacrificed his Sikhi Saroop for the sake of bread and butter. They developed ten such stores and after selling six to their fellow Indians. They are now running such like four stores. The family who were once on the road to find some jobs is now pro viding jobs to many helpless Indians. His two sons Jagjit Singh and Charanjit Singh are talented and successful businessmen. The Kapoor family has not made their own fortune but has also helped about ten people in establishing their businesses.
