A study published in American Journal of Medical Association reveals that orthopedic injuries sustained during a motorcycle crash cost an average amount of 17,700 dollars. A study by Timothy Bray M.D. et al from Uni. of California Davis, revealed the histories of 5ladmissions which were primarily precipitated by motorcycle accidents. They found that;

*more than half of the patients were intoxicated at the time of admission.

*72% of the cost for the treatment of injuries was paid by the state.

*75% of such patients had no insurance.
