GIDDERBABA: Simranjit Singh Mann said that Sikhs would be forced to approach the United Nations if Delhi continued to dally with the rights of the people of Punjab. Speaking at a public rally here, the constituency of Parkash ‘Singh Badal Mann expressed apprehension that the center might continue to postpone elections till it managed to get a pliable leader elected.

Mann is on a padyatra of the state and earlier visited Badal village where he was accorded a reception by the Sarpanch Paramjit Singh a cousin of Parkash Singh. Later Paramjit Singh presented a purse of RS 55,000 to Mann on behalf of the people of the village.

Mann who claimed to have invaded the den of Badal said his party was ready to resolve the Punjab problem within the framework of the constitution but if Delhi wanted to settle things on the battlefield we are even ready to do that.
