AMRITSAR: Mr Baldev Singh Hothian a senior All India Sikh Students Federation leader who broke away on Sunday from the parent organisation to float a new A.I.S.S.F alleged in a statement that Bhai Manjit Singh and his associates were government agents and they had received Rs 2 crore from the Centre recently.

Hothian disclosed that five A.I.S.S.F leaders namely Bhai Manjit Singh Mr Harminder Singh Gill Mr Jasbir Singh Ghuman Mr Sarbjit Singh Sohal and Mr Sarbjit Singh Jammu had together travelled with the Union Minister of State for Home Mr Sabodh Kant Sahay in his official aircraft and had held secret talks in Delhi. As a result of these negotiations the Centre gave Rs 2 crore to the group presumably to fight elections.

That is why Mr Hothian said Bhai Manjit Singh and his group had given up all issues for the welfare of Sikhs. He said the federation was not the property of any individual or family. It was the organisation of Sikh youths and was meant for the welfare of the Sikhs community.

The dissident group included apart from Mr Hothian Mr Guriqbal Singh Mr Narinder Singh Mr Dharambir Singh Chandigarh and Mr Surinder Singh. The group selected Mr Kuldip Singh Kahlon as convenor to set up district and State Level units of the new federation.

The group announced its supports the following candidates: Mr Amrik Singh Sultanwind (brother of slain chief of Khalistan Commando Force Kanwaljit Singh Sitanwind) for Taran Taran Parliamentary seat Mr Mohan Singh Mathian for Ajnala Mr bir Singh for Reao Mr Kanéé jit Singh hijacker for Elra Mr Harinder Singh Khalsa Norway for Dakha Mr Kuldip Singh Wadala for Nakedar and Col H.S. Kahlon for Ludhiana East.

The most fruitful lesson is the conquest of one’s own error. Whoever refuses to admit error may be a great scholar but he is not a great learner. Whoever is ashamed of error will struggle against recognizing and admitting it which means that the struggles against his greatest inward again.
