CHANDIGARH: The Hukum Singh ministry in Haryana was expanded with the induction of 10 ministers, four of cabinet rank and six ministers of state.
The ruling Janata Dal (S) has 41 members in a house of 86 and now all but 10 of them are ministers.
The oath was administered by state governor Dhanik Lal mandal at a simple ceremony in the Raj Bhavan.
On Prakash Chautala, the new Janata Dal (S) general secretary and former chief minister were present at the ceremony.
With this expansion, the first after the formal split in the state Janata Dal, The Janata Dal (S) ministry now has 13 cabinet rank ministers, 18 ministers of state and one chief parliamentary party secretary.
