Charanjit Singh Sihota has made a distinctive place in the trucking business at Fresno. One feels proud when a truck with a “Khandda” logo is seen running on the freeways. Sihota Brothers have established themselves as successful businessmen in this field. Charanjit and Kirpal belonged to village Bara Pind in district Jullandhur. Their father S. Tarsem Singh came to USA in 1953 as a student. He got higher education from Reedley College Fresno. He later joined US Navy in 1951. But as the luck turned his face from the family S. Tarsem Singh lost his precious life in a car accident while he was on the way to Gurdwara Stockton when this untoward incident took place. But due to the efforts of their grandfather S. Assa Singh and uncle S. Sardul Singh both the Sihota Brothers migrated to USA. Charanjit took his schooling at Selma and higher education from Reedley College where once his father was a student. Sihota specialized as auto mechanic, put instead of joining some easy job Sihotas jumped into the trucking business. Sihotas got an inspiration from their relative and friend Amarjeet Tut to enter into this flourishing business. Sihota Trucking C. which was started in 1978 now owns 2 fleet of 18 trucks. Recently Sihotas have enhanced their business interests by merging with another firm known as Royal Express. Sihotas are running their business from their house constructed at their agricultural farm which they describe as a hobby. Sihotas are able and sincerely assisted by their maternal uncle §, Gurdey Singh Bisla.

Charanjit was married to Dalwinder Kaur in 1978 and now are the proud parents of three children Kamaljit Singh (9) Birinder Kaur (7) and Harman deep (7 months).

Sihota family is deeply devoted to the Sikh religion and are always in the forefront to serve the Sikh community.
