Ms. Bhutto would discuss bilateral and international matters with Rajiv Gandhi he said.

The Minister, who is here for the Defense Asia ‘89 exhibition said the talks would be a continuance of the discussions the two leaders had in Islamabad during the SAARC meeting last December. “It (the proposed meeting) argues well for good bilateral relations as the two countries have several things in common,” he said.

Answering a question the Minister said it was too early to consider any bilateral defense cooperation between the two countries. “Nevertheless the forthcoming meeting between the Defense Secretaries of Pakistan and India will be a positive development,” he said.
