NEW DELHI (PTI): The Supreme Court will hear on April 16 the appeal by the Union government challenging the Madhya Pradesh high court verdict quashing the presidential order imposing central rule in the state.
In its Special Leave Petition (SLP) field in the Apex court on April 12, the Center has contended that the high court verdict quashing the presidential order of December 15 was “contrary to law, without jurisdiction and materially unsustainable.”
