Journalist Mr. Ambassador, the Indian government has asked England and America to use their influence over Pakistan to stop her from supporting Sikh freedom fighters.
Ambassador: That’s right.
Journalist: But the Pakistan government has been consistently denying the charge. In fact, Sikh freedom fighters are bitter because no foreign power has as yet extended its support to them.
Ambassador: Very correct.
Journalist: Don’t you think India is haunted by its own guilt of supporting Mukti Bahini to break up Pakistan and Tamil guerrillas to enslave Sri Lanka and, therefore, suspect Pakistan and America of the same game against it?
Ambassador: Not in national interest to disclose. Journalist Mr. Ambassador, Communist Party of India General Secretary, Mr. C. Rajesh war Rao has suggested that Punjab should be accorded special status in the Constitution to solve the problem.
Ambassador: That’s right.
Journalist: But Mr. Rao had all along been advocating stringent measures against the Sikh freedom fighters and had often suggested ruthless military offensive to crush them.
Ambassador: Very correct.
Journalist: Is it a genuine concern for the right of self-determination of the Sikhs, or is he merely trying to antagonize the free world against Sikhs by the show of ‘Communist support to them.

Journalist Mr. Ambassador, in his book “1999Victory without War”, former American President, Mr. Richard Nixon has disclosed that he “pulled in the reins when India
Sought to gobble up Pakistan during the 1971 IndoPak war”.
Ambassador: that’s right.’
Journalist: He has also disclosed that he was able to do it by establishing a “back channel” with the Soviet Union. Ambassador. Very correct.
Journalist Do you think the present administration in Washington will prevent India from gobbling up Pakistan, or simply applaud India on this achievement as it applauded its recent conquest of Sri Lanka?
