NEW DELHI: Dilip Vengsarkar was retained on Monday as India’s Captain Find for a cricket tour of the West Indies but the way barred by legal restrictions and disciplinary problems.

Vengsarkat’s actions have been widely criticized, with the respected Indian sports magazine SPORTSTAR saying he could have a bad influence on young cricketer in the country.
