SCHAUMBERG: Mayor Mr L Larson (Mayor of Schaumburg IL.) and Mr Michael ‘O” Malley (Mayor of Hoffman Estates IL.) came to Chicago Gurdwara in Palatine Illinois on Sunday last. They were invited to Gurdwara by Sikh Religious Society to provide them the first hand information of Sikh community and its scope of activities of interfacing with the other communities for better understanding. The two mayors were introduced to the Sangat by Surinderpal Singh Kalra (Dir of Admin WSO) after the brief explanation of Sikhs and Sikhism by Kuldip Singh Makkar. The excellent contribution of the two mayors towards the growth and development of their cities were applauded. They were later honored by Gur Singh on behalf of Sikh Religions Society
