“* The Gurus and our ancestors have already laid down the political programme for the Sikh people. The political programme, we repeat every morning and evening in our congregations:

“May the mankind’s progress on the road to recurring victories and ever expanding affluence. May the Sikhs remain free and sovereign. May the righteousness prevail everywhere and ever more. May the Panth be respected and recognized amongst the nations of the world. There is no other Sikh programme’.

The Sikh Broadcasting Network

Aspires to provide the Sikh Panthic point of view to its listeners through Radio and T.V. while it supports Panthic Newspapers and Periodicals.

We are already on the air in New York since May 8, 1988, on WEVD Radio 97.9 FM.

We seek Panthic groups all across the country to arrange radio programs in the first instance. Our dream is to have Sikh program on T.V.

For starters, we have prepared:

* 60 minute video of Shabad Kirtan by Sohan Singh Rasia. Price $11.00,

* Video of Katha and Gurbani Vichar by Giani Amarjit Singh Ji. Price $11.00,

* Projects for a video to teach Punjabi to children and other documentary about the “Sikh Cause”.

*NOTE: Due to the printing error, the price of the video was wrongly quoted as $5.00 in the previous issue of the World Sikh News dated June 24, 1988. This may be read as. $11.00. The error is regretted.
