MADRAS: Freedom fighter, veteran Congressman, eminent Tamil scholar and former chairman of the now defunct Tamil Nadu Legislative Council, M.P, Sivagnanam died, here, Oct.3rd, at a private hospital following a cardiac arrest, reports said.
He was 90. He is survived by two daughters.
Mr, Sivagnanam was admitted to a private hospital, here, on August 11 last following a hip fracture which he suffered during a fall. He was operated upon a few days later.
