Dear Editor

The lengthy letter written by Mr Gurcharan Singh Dhillon to condemn Mr Ragi for his statement on the issue of Khalistan 1s definitely not for the Chardi Kala of the Sikh nation. Mr Vic Fazio in his letter to President Clinton waters down the issue of Khalistan by saying that the Sikhs are divided on this issue. In his subsequent interview with the Yuba City newspaper Mr Fazio is not with Khalistanis. He supports unityandiniegaty of India. The Congressman Vic Fazio has every right to his opinion on any national and international issue however we the Sikhs have a commitment with our national destiny. And our political destiny is freedom and sovereignty. Human rights violation of Sikhs is a symptom of slavery. We need to convince our friends regarding our goal of freedom. Mr. Dhillons claim on friendship with Vic Fazio for 10 years is commendable. However this friendship appears more personal than national The WSO constitution states clearly that the goal of Sikh struggle is Khalistan. And one of the means to do it is to win more friends However Mr. Dhillon sadly fails to convince his readers about his commitment to the lofty objective of Khalistan. He ridicules the idea of lobbying the only successful strategy so far the Sikhs could be proud of Sikhis amazing how much energy we waste in doing and saying things none of which seems closer to our national priority Sitting behind the bars is unfortunate and: tragic but how it is related to the freedom issues at hand. Did the Congress leaders Gandhi Nehru and Patel who spent time in jail brought health and happiness to India? Moreover how we compare struggle of Khalistan with PLO and South Africa in learns of history and political issues .Our tragedy is that after 10 years of suffering and humiliation we support all those who have failed us We neglect and criticize those who are positive and constructive in their faith and who truly believe that Sikhs are destined to bring change in the ways the people think did behave in this world.

Mr-Ragi and other letter writers are very clear and convincing of tie moue and aim of Sikh struggle. None of these letters reflect ignorance and stupidity. Moreover who among Sikhs ix enemy of Vic Fazio? I am definitely against Idol worship. Let us pool our resources and energy and stay behind them who support our national goat of Khalistan.
