TULOUSE, France, Nov8: Title holder Jahangir Khan Subdued fellow Pakistani Maqsood Ahmed to sweep into the quarter finals of the world open squash tournament today.

Jahangir moved a confident step closer to his sixth consecutive World title when he defeated his cousin 9-5, 9-1, 9-5 in the second round in 38 minutes.

New Zealanders Ross Norman and Stuart Davenport, seeded second and third behind Jahangir, also progressed safely into the last eight with straight sets wins.
