BOMBAY: The 53rd Senior National Hockey Championship for men would be conducted at four centers Gwalior, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Agra from February 24 of March 4.
The Secretary of the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF), Mr. K.L, Passi, said here today that 32 teams would be divided into eight groups of four each and two such groups would participate in each of the four centers in the league phase of the championship.
One team would qualify from each of the eight groups for the quarterfinals, the quarterfinals, semifinals and final are slated to be played at Gwalior on Astroturf.
The championship would be organized by the Railway Sports Control Board.
