CHANDIGARH,India: Surjit Singh Minhas, Speaker of Punjab Assembly, said that there was lot of goodwill’ for Sikhs outside Punjab. While talking to pressmen after a 13 day visit to three non-Congress Tamil Nadu, Karnatka and West Bengal, Minhas said that he did not come across any complaint of discrimination against the Sikhs during his visit to the three States. As a matter of fact he came back with the impression that despite all that was happening in Punjab, the Sikh community continued to enjoy great goodwill among people there. However, there was need to explain Punjab case to people in the other states so as to remove any misunderstandings, Mr. Minhas added.
