CHANDIGARH, India: About 30% Sikhs in UP., West Bengal and Bihar have migrated to Punjab after the November, 1984 riots. This was stated through press note by Sant Singh Tegh, President of Jammu and Kashmir Akali Dal. Remaining Sikhs have decided not to return to Punjab and have formed a group under Baba Mohan Singh of Kanpur. Sant Singh Tegh observed after making a recent tour of three states. He asked the Akali Dal, Damdami Taksal and AILSS.F. To discuss the deteriorating situation with the Sikhs outside Punjab at a Sarbat Khalsa Convention.
