CHICAGO: Saturday August 9th a luncheon was held at the Hyatt Regency Wood field for the Sikh youth of Chicago area. Over 60 Sikh college students were in attendance the program sponsored by Sikh Religious Society of Chicago was organized by the efforts of Gurjot Kaur Sidhu and Preet Kaur Sidhu.
The purpose was to let the Sikh youth meet each other share their views and make plans for organizing a youth group.
Four speakers addressed the meeting on the general topic of how and why the Sikh youth should organize itself. President and ex-President of S.R.S. and speakers from Brown University and Ohio State University also addressed the social gathering.
