A special Vaisakhi program on channel WNYE 25 will be broadcast thanks to the efforts of the Sikh Cultural Society.
The program in which Sikh scholars and orators have expressed their views on Sikh religion, Sikh community, Sikh day parade and Vaisakhi celebrations will be relayed twice. First on Thursday April 8, 1993 at 7:30 p.m., and then on April 13, 1993 Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
The following persons have taken part in the discussion which is being relayed: S.Harbans Singh Bharaj, S.Satnam Singh Dhami, $.Gurbhej Singh Sandhu, S.Baljinder Singh.
The other program is regarding the Sikh day parade which is being organized for April 24, 1993 in New York. The one hour recording of this program will be relayed on May 1, 1993 at 9:00 a.m., 10; 00 a.m. The whole community is requested to participate in the efforts and see the program.
