BEDFORD HEIGHTS, OH: The annual convention of Sikh Council of North America will take place in Cleveland, Ohio on May 24 and 25, according to a communication from its President, S. Balbir Singh Basi.
The convention will primarily discuss ways and means to educate the future generations about Sikh: ism. Prof. Surinder Singh Kohli from India will speak on Sikh religion and philosophy.
Besides other eminent Sikhs, S Didar Singh Bains, W.S.O. (International) President, S. Gian Singh Sandhu, W.S.O. (Canada) President and Dr. Manohar Singh Grewal, W.S.O. (USA) President are likely to attend the convention.
Talking to World Sikh News, Mr. Basi said, “Here is an open invitation to all the Sikhs to participate in this convention and contribute meaningfully to its deliberations”. He particularly appealed to all prominent Sikhs and delegates of Sikh institutions to attend this convention.
