AGRA: Guddi, one meter tall, has given birth to a 50 cm tall normal boy to stake her claim for the world’s shortest mother in the Guinness Book of World Records.
A local nursing home claimed Sunday that the 25yrold wife of a rickshaw puller, Guddi, gave birth to a normal male child, 50 cms in length.
Alka Sen, the gynecologist who operated on Guddi, said she was shorter than the 120 cm tall Madhu Guota of Firozabad who had reportedly found a place in the Guinness Book.
The doctor said she had earlier helped 125 cm and 135 cm tall women deliver children who were, however, abnormal.
