SELMA, CA: A Shaheed, Shamgam in the memory of chief general, KLF Bhai Gurjant Singh Budhsinghwala and other Shaheeds of Khalistan was held in Selma. This samagam was hosted by Sikh Students Federation, Fresno. Akhand Path was started on Friday Aug.7 and concluded on Sunday Aug. 9,1992 with Bhog ceremonies. Selma jatha recited kirtan and afterwards conference Diwan started with Bhai Tara Singh Pal paying homage to Bhai Gurjant Singh and other Shaheeds of Khalistan, He stressed supporting and respecting those fighting and lying down their lives for Khalistan, He also cautioned Sikh Sangat from following Masands (Nakali Guru). Then Jatha of Bhai Jagir Singh sang patriotic songs of current Shaheeds of Khalistan including Bhai Gurjant Singh Budhsingwala. General Secretary Gurjant Singh Khosa warned Sikh Sangat against Muslims who are dividing Sikh religion into different sections, Bhai Kanwarpal Singh paid homage to Shaheed Bhai Gurjant Singh Budhsinghwala and told Sangat that even though Bhai Budhsinghwala’s loss was big setback the fight for Khalistan will goon. Federation spokesman Bhai Parminder Singh Dhillon paid homage to Bhai Budhsinghwala and cleaned the picture of Masams in front of Sikh Sangat and told of how much the Masands are effecting Sikhism. These Nakali Gurus are posing as the real Guru’s thus creating misunderstanding among Sikhs. Bhai Parminder Singh further warned Sikh Sangat about Nakali Guru’s and said to have faith in Guru Granth Sahib, Then Federation president Parminder Singh paid homage to Sikh Martyrs and discussed S.S.F,”s Manifesto under which S.S.F. will function, He said,” even though we strongly respect and believe in Bhai Daljit Singh’s convenor ship we respect all other organizations equally.” At the end of the Shaheedi Samagam Bhai Gumam Singh and Bhai Gurjinder Singh Rana paid homage to Sikh Martyrs.
