KATHMANDU (PTI) :Nearly 55 passengers, including some tourists from India’s West Bengal, were feared drowned when a bus plunged into the rain-fed turbulent Trishul river at Jogi mara in central Nepal on August 2. All efforts by the army, police and local people to locate the ill-fated bus have failed.

The private bus, plying from Kakarvitta border town in Eastern Nepal, adjoining Siliguri district in West Bengal, to Kathmandu fell into the Trishuli on August 2.

The bus was hit by a big boulder   during a lands idea lost its balance. _ Two big boulders also hit the bus before it went off the road and _ Plunged into the river, The Nepal transport entrepreneurs’ association said there were 28 passengers inside the bus. But three of the four survivors” said that many more boarded the bus at various points.
