NEW DELHI, India: Sardarni Gobind Kaur mother of Sardar Joginder Singh Sandhu and S. Aviar Singh Sandhu of the Bay Area, California and wife of late R.B. Sardar Basakha Singh of New Delhi passed away ‘on September 29, 1986, after a brief illness.
Her other sons Sardar Daya ‘Singh Sandhu, S. Mohkam Singh Sandhu and S. Pritam Singh Sandhu are in New Delhi, She is also survived by two sisters, Sardarni Bhagwant Kaur Buttar of Vernon, Connecticut and Sardarni Rajinder Kaur Deol of Khawaja Kharak, District Ferozepur.
Sardarni Gobind Kaur was a deeply religious lady and was well known for her philanthropic role in the community. Bhog of Guru Granth Sahib and Antam Ardas for the peace of her soul was held ‘on October 11. 1986.
