Nachhattar Singh Bath is the elder brother of S. Charanjit Singh Bath and one of the leading farmers of Fresno area. S. Nachhattar Singh was equally known as a “Land Lord” in Pakistan. Bath also maintained his traditions even after partition.

Sardar Bath was born to Sardarni Surjeer Kaur and S. Sham Singh at Chak 51, (Sajjad) District Lyallpur, now in Pakistan on July 8, 1927.

Soon after the partition of the country, Baths migrated to India and settled at Talwandi Rai Ki. They got their land allotment at village Nurpura in Lieu of the property left in Pakistan. Here too, he soon became a successful farmer which practically came in the category of “Land Lords.” He owned 120 acres of land in Village Nurpura.

Baths migrated to U.S.A. in 1967. After some time he again started being counted as a known farmer with 500 acres of land.

Baths are the proud parents of six grownup children. They include Gurdev Kaur, Raghbir Singh, Darshan Pal Singh, Kulwant Kaur, Rai Kuljeet Kaleke and Manjeet Gill.

Bath and his family are deeply religious persons. They have generously donated for the construction of a Gurdwara Sahib at Caruthers. They have always helped the Sikh cause.
