CHANDIGARH: Punjab claimed a gold medal in the 90 kg class when Kuldeep Singh (PSEB) beat Uttar Pradesh’s Ram Kishan in the 20th All-India Inter State Electricity Boards Wrestling Championship at the Sector 10 skating rink hall here recently.

Ramesh Chander of HSEB, Panchkula, powered his way through the grecoroman semifinal and entered the final and will face Jattan Singh of U.P. For the third place, Punjab’s Harpreet Singh got a bronze medal, routing Madhya Pradesh’s Rakesh Suryavansi by fall. He took 2:03 seconds.
