AMRITSAR, Punjab, India: Much awaited reaction of the pro Khalistan forces has clearly demarcated the pro and anti Khalistan forces. The two page press release by the five members of the Panthic Committee and Khalistan Commando forces have made scathing attack on the action of Prof. Darshan Singh. The Committee said that it was for the first time in the Sikh history that the Jathedar of Akal Takht has turned his face away from his responsibilities. Referring to his statement, the Committee showed acute anger and pain. :
The Pathic Committee strongly felt that Prof. Darshan Singh appeared to have made this offer to hand over to the freedom fighters to the struggle to consultation with the Indian government.
The Committee renewed their spirit of determination to continue their fight for total freedom for Sikhs. They also made it clear that anybody who comes in the way and obstructs the process will meet the fate of an enemy.
The Committee again made it categorically clear that they have no personal differences with Prof. Darshan Singh, but if he becomes. A tool in the hands of corrupt and power hungry politicians he could not expect any better treatment from the Sikhs.
General Labh Singh, the Chief of Khalistan Commando Forces, in a message to the Sikh masses appealed to them misguided by defunct political leaders and rise the occasion and join the struggle for ultimate freedom.
