MANILA, REUTER — Unknown men threw hand grenades into a crowd at a basketball tournament in the southern Philippines, killing six people and wounding about 100 others, the military said on Monday.
It said the winners of a local tournament were being awarded prizes on Sunday night in Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat Province, when two grenades exploded.
