AMRITSAR: The five member Panthie committee has given a ray ‘of hope for bringing unity in the Tanks of all militant groups. The Committee was acting on the directives of the four headpriests to bring ‘unity amongst the militant factions of the Sikhs.
I am signed two page statement the panthic committee asserted that the process of negotiation was already in progress. The committee disclosed that Bhai Wassan Singh, Bhai Shubeg Singh and Bhai Jaspal Singh were in touch ‘With each other to sort out the Problems or hurdles if any to achieve this much awaited unity in the militant circles, The Sikhs in general and fighting cadres in particular have felt delighted on the move of the panthic committee.
The Panthic committee also announced that it will soon formulate a new programme concerning economic social and political aspects for the Sikh community. The committee showed their confidence that after the announcement and implementation of these programmes, the Sikh masses will not have to look back to the old Akali leadership.
