AMRITSAR: Both the Panthic Committees in separate messages, told the World Sikh News that the entire Sikh nation was grateful to the U.S. Congressman who voted for Congressman Wally Herger’s amendment to cut aid to India.
“The Indian government is waging a war against us. They are killing our youth, dishonoring our women and torturing innocent people.”
“We are fighting to stop the
terrorism of the Indian government. Just as the people of America looked up to the French to help them in their battle of independence we look up to the Americans.
“We hope that in the near future more Congressmen will be convinced of the correctness of the Sikh cause, and the next time such: an amendment is introduced it will be passed,” they said.
