A 22 year old Pakistani girl has ‘been signed for the role of “Henna” Raj Kappoor’s dream project, by RK. Studio’s Bombay.

Zeba, whose selection ends a three year talent hunt for the lead in the romantic film will also be her screen name.

She stays with her parents in Quetta. Ava her mother, is a Britisher and her father is Pakistan’s Attorney General. She has been ina few TV plays but “Henna” will be her first feature film. Her name was suggested by Hasina Moin, a Pakistani film writer who is coauthoring the dialogue for this Indian movie.

Her Urdu diction according to The Times of India is faultless and she is not intimidated by the camera. No wonder, the producers are thrilled at their discovery.

Permission for Zeba to act in “Henna” has been secured from the Governments of Pakistan and India. The shooting will be done either in Kashmir or in Kulu Manali.
