CHANDIGARH, India: Former Home Minister of India, Mr. P.C. Sethi has been expelled from the Congress (I) party for anti-party activities. This was disclosed by party general secretary, Mr. Moonpar. He stated that Mr. Sethi’s reply to the show cause notice was considered and found to be unsatisfactory.

It may be recalled that Mr. Sethi was involved in the incident of unruly behaviour with a female telephone operator in Delhi which fad caused considerable embarrassment to the ruling party.
