SRINAGAR: Over 1,250 people were killed in border areas of Indian held Kashmir during first five months of current year. Among them were included 500 civilians killed in crossfire, 460 freedom fighters and 290 Indian soldiers, sources close to United Nations office said. The sources said that continued gun battle between Indian and Pakistani forces was witnessed between January and May this year occurring more than once every day recording an increase of 17 percent as compared to May last year and alarming increase of 92 percent comparing the ongoing firing with the first five months last year. Describing the situation on the 800 kilometer long border between India and Pakistan now called Line of Control (LoC) as very “tense”, the sources said that continued firing has been taking place in border areas of Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Domel and Rawalakot in Azad Kashmir where both Indian and Pakistani troopers have been using not very heavy weapons but mostly have been using automatic assault rifles and machineguns only.

‘The sources said that 1,200 people were killed in Indian Kashmir. “We have no records of complaints available from the Indian side for they have stopped informing us of the border clashes after Simla Agreement reached between India and Pakistan in 1972,” the sources said, adding that the figures of casualties were given out to them by Pakistani authorities and also confirmed by the UNO Military Observers in Indian and Azad Kashmir.

The agents of Israeli secret agency MOSSAD have begun their job of eliminating the freedom fighters in Occupied Kashmir and have been given a month’s time to complete their task.

MOSSAD agents have been assigned the job of identifying freedom fighters in the Valley, finding, out their hideouts and eliminating them with the help of the crack commandos of the Indian Army, said the weekly.

‘These commandos have been specially trained by MOSSAD. One of their special targets are the 23) air officials in Srinagar who are held on the list of suspects by the Indian occupation forces MOSSAD operatives have been given full free= dom to take decisions on the spot and even shoot anyone suspicious, the weekly said. The weekly further disclosed that the MOSSAD’ agents were working in close collusion with the Indian Minister for Internal Security, Rajesh Pilot. Meanwhile, Hindustan Times has, reported that Rajesh Pilot had to face a furious crowd when he arrived in Srinagar. The demonstrators, mostly women, rose anti India slogans, demanding the release of their relatives under detention for months.

The crowd did not allow the Minister to speak and as he walked away they chased him and forced him to retreat, reported another Indian daily, Tribune of Chandigarh, , The crowd told the Minister in” Clear terms that Kashmiris did not want doles but an end to the Indian repression in the Valley, said the daily.
