MALTON: To make a new enterprise a success one heeds courage, perseverance and determinations, and such characteristics are Godly endowment and are attained through honesty, sincerity of the cause and persistence. Kulvinder, popularly known as Kul, has been bestowed with such qualities from childhood. His father was martyred in 1947 fighting for freedom and religious sanctity. His septuagenarian mother is still striving 10 promote the cause of pious living through her writings.
‘Due to heavy losses in the recession, a real estate office had closed down. Kul took over the premises and ventured to open his ‘New Venture Realty Inc’ in 1990. By it of his hard work, supported by the untiring efforts Of his team mates and, most of all, with the encourage talent from the South Asian Community, in spite of all the recessionary forces working against him, he made it 4 success, Though his wammates are from different communities and reflect the true multicultural mosaic, his main business base is in the South Asian Community. The company has earned a very good name and his ales staff feels proud to serve the clients through the Latter’s own language.
To meet the overwhelming demand from the Punjabi Speaking Community in Malton area Kul decided to open a branch there. Although there are a number of real estate offices in that area, the closeness which people {eel to have with “New Venture’ led him to establish there as well.
The new office of the ‘New Venture” in the main shopping center on Airport Road was inaugurated with an Open House’ on June 11, 1995. It was a pleasure visiting the place and meeting Kul, his sales team and the there to congratulate Col, Singh.
Singh Malhi, the M.P, Maltonresent to grace the occasion, Kul is a Postgraduate of Defense Services Staff Coland a senior retired Army Officer. He is very intelligent, full of energy and highly pragmaue in his approach. Whereas a number of real estate’s industries stalwarts are going under, he is expanding. I asked Col. what the secret behind this was. He, humbly, replied that his success was due to public support, trust, and faith of the people, and their love and affection towards him, as well as the strong, highly professional and loyal salespersons. His motto was “Service Before Self.” Col. Singh expressed thanks to his clients, friends, relatives, well-wishers and his own sales and support staff.
In Malton Office, Kul is assisted by Mr. Jit Singh, who is ‘an associate broker, Mr. Singh is well known in the community there and is prominent figure in the real estate industry. ‘The ‘Open House’ itself, in New Venture’s new, fully equipped and magnificently laid out office, was a great success, and credit for this goes to Kul’s charming wile Vinu and his genius son, Avi and daughter Avita.
