SRINAGAR: Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, chairman of the Awami Action Committee, said Dec 7 that amicable solution to the “Kashmir Issue” will not only remove the Present atmosphere of construction but will usher in a new era of Peace, friendship and trust in the subcontinent.
Addressing a Friday congregation at Jama Masjid here, he called upon the new leadership of India and Pakistan to sit together with representatives of Kashmir to soIve the Kashmir problem accord MB to the wishes of the people of E the state.
Criticising search operations by the security forces, he said innocent people are being arrested.
The congregation offered Namaz-E-Jinaza (prayer after death) in memory of the 22 militants who were i in an encounter with security forces on December 4.
