LA HABRA HTS: Preparations are in full swing for a gala Gurpurab Celebration on the 324th Birth anniversary of the Tenth beloved Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj on Tuesday Dec 25, 1990 from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm at Cal Poly University Pomona.
A very interesting program of Shabad Kirtan and talks by prominent Ragi Jathas and Speakers has been planned for the day. The world renowned Raji Jathas of Bhai Amrik Singh Zakhmi, Bhai Gurcharan Singh Rasia, Bhai Sohan Singh Rasia, IGS Camper Groups, Mothers Group, Sindhi Sisters Group, American Singhs and others are all going to perform. Bhai Jeewan Singh has called from U.K. to confirm he’s coming to participate in this unique function as well.
What is most encouraging is that all Sikh Gurdwaras managements of Southern California have confirmed their fullest support and participation. International Institute of Gurmat Studies Inc., has requested all Southern California Management chiefs to come and receive the Gurpurab Gifts reserved for their respective Gurdwara Sahibs. IGS takes this opportunity to call upon all Sikhs to come and join in the Great Gurpurab Celebrations to start a new chapter of Love, mutual respect, understanding and unity amongst all Sikhs and various Gurdwara Sahibs.
