CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal had a shaky start when he inducted 25 more ministers on Monday to raise the strength of his Council of Ministers to 33 in a house of 90 with Congress (I)’s strength being only 51. Since a few more are being appointed ministers, chairman of boards and corporations, no ruling party legislator in Haryana will be left without being in position of power. Evidently, the Chief Minister cannot afford to keep his ministry small and compact for fear of defections.
