Mr. President,

Add my voice to those in Congress who are calling for an active diplomatic effort by your administration to help bring an end to the brutal oppression of the Sikhs by the Indian government in Punjab, Khalistan.

I respectfully urge you to vigorously pursue every diplomatic option available to bring about a peaceful resolution Of this matter. The Sikhs have a right to peacefully exist in India, and their ability to do so depends on your leadership and the efforts of the United States government. I look forward to actively supporting your efforts in this matter. Peter Blute
