New DELHI, India: Mrs. Kiran Bedi, Deputy Commissioner of North Delhi, has been transferred to Central Reserve Police Force. The order came within hours of the submission of the inquiry report by the Goswami Commission to Delhi administration. Understood to have recommended the transfer of Mrs. Bedi from the Capital police force, According to reliable resources, the government had acted on the Goswami Report which had been handed over to the Lt. Governor’s office on Saturday evening. The High Court Bar Association of Delhi have terminated agitation while the District ‘Bar Association have decided to hold a meeting on Monday to decide the next course of action. There is a lot of resentment among the members of the Bar Association about the action of the government. They have been demanding Mrs. Bedi’s suspension on the grounds that she organized mob violence against advocates of Tis Hazari Courts.
