NEW DELHI (PTI): India recently provided medicines worth Rs 5 million for children affected by the Chambly nuclear accident in Ukraine.

Secretary in the ministry of external affairs Srinivasan handed over the consignment to Georgty LK hodorovskiy Ambassador of Ukraine to India.

The medicines being supplied are Hista long Jr Norilet-p Ibuclin Jr Nospa tablets and Insulin Actrupid.

India’s gesture reflects its continuing efforts to help mitigate the adverse impact of the Cheronbyl accident.
