CHICAGO: The International Human Rights Organization (THRO) Chairman D.S. Gilt has reorganized its North America Coordination Office and established a separate coordination office for the United States of American Chicago which will extend its cooperation to all human rights and political groups across the States.
While Mr. Guriey Singh Gill (Toronto) will continue as Coordinate or for North America Mr. Shivjit Singh Hundle has been made in charge of the USA Coordination Office at Chicago. Mr. Gureharan Singh Jhaj will work as Treasurer and Mr. In win Preset Singh as Secretary of the coordination office. The coordination officials are authorized appoint any number of executive members for the office, according to Mr. DS. Gill, who is on his official visit to USA after Canada.
The IHRO, based in India with its international network, mainly documents violations of human rights in the Indian Subcontinent and lobby international agencies on behalf of Sikhs and other minorities in India. This time the IHRO chairman is in States for mobilizing the international public opinion in favor of the right of self-determination of Sikhs in Punjab (The Sikh Case) who are struggling for their freedom in India for the last decade.
Mr. Gillis visiting various it is like New York, Chicago, San Francisco San Jose and Los Angeles to share his information and views on human rights and political India, particularly Punjab and Kashmir, and get public support for organizing a seminar on the Sikh Caseat Washington, DC in the first week of June.
