TORONTO: International Human Rights Organization Chairman D.S Gill this week expanded its North America Chapter. The head office of the organization felt this need to expedite its working across Canada and America.
While Dr. Rajwant Singh and Gurdev Singh Gill will continue a President and Coordinator for North America, Shivjit Singh Hundal (Chicago) and Pritam Singh Aulakh (Vancouver) have been appointed as coordinators for USA and Canada respectively.
Gurcharan Singh (Toronto) has been added as vice-president to the chapter who will look after the working of the organization in Canada. And Bhupinder Singh Somal (Toronto) and Ravinder Singh (Thunder bay) have been nominated as Secretary and Joint Secretary for Canada.
The IHRO Coordination officials in Canada have, in the meantime, appreciated North American Sikh lawyers who have organized themselves into a body; They also appreciated their stand on the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty recently signed between Canada and India.
