CHITTAGONG, Bangladesh, Feb. 19: A cylinder full of highly toxic chlorine gas exploded and injured by least 50 people in southern Bangladesh, police said on Friday.

Police said at least 20 people were hurt in a fire on Thursday caused by the explosion at a water supply station outside Chittagong, and 30 others, including four fire fighters, were affected by the gas.

Hospital doctors said all 50 were now out of danger.
