AMSTERDAM, Reuter: Ethiopia’s Olympic boycott decision is still not final, one of their national coaches said on Thursday.

“We have not yet fully decided on the boycott of Seoul. Our Olympic Committee has instructed us to prepare the athletes to compete and if everything can be worked out we will be there,” National Marathon Coach, Nigussie Roba told Reuters on Thursday,

“I sincerely hope the two Koreas can sort out their differences and we can then take part. With our athletes’ form we have a good chance of winning,” he said.

He said the Ethiopian government would probably decide about the Olympics fairly.
