DR. AJIT PAL SINGH SANDHU, got his M.B.B.S. degree from Government Medical College, Patiala, in 1974. He migrated to Pennsylvania (U.S.A) in 1975. He did his residency from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in Internal Medicine. he got his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Sandhu, a dedicated soft spoken and sincere young doctor selected the Silicon Valley of the Golden State of California for his medical practice and settled in Freemont city in 1982. Because of his devotion and hard work, he soon became a popular person in the social, political, religious and medical circles. Dr. Sandhu is a devoted to the Sikh idealism and vsecVe. Of “Chardi Kala” of the Sikh religion.

His humble way of thinking can be judged from this very fact that he proudly mentions his past as belonging to a modest agriculturist family of village Matiana, District Hoshiarpur.

Dr. Sandhu is at present on the medical staff of the Washington Hospital and St. Rose Hospital, Hayward. He is also in charge of Bhai Kanaya Ji, a free medical clinic at Sikh Temple Freemont. The community looks upon him as a guide, friend and philosopher.
