DR. PRITHIPAL SINGH, an executive of biochemical co. was born on April 6, 1939 at Amritsar, Punjab. He was married to Shrimati Rajinder Kaur on April 14, 1963.

Dr. Singh got his B.Sc. degree from Khalsa College, Amritsar in 1959, M.S. from Hindu university Banaras in 1961, Ph.D. from Toronto University in 1967 and post doctorate from South Hampton University in 196970.

Dr. Prithipal Singh started his long and an outstanding career as Lecturer at Khalsa College, Delhi, 196163 as Assistant Professor Banaras Hindu University 6869, Senior Chimist Sijva Research Palo Alto 197073, group leader 7374, Research Manager 7477, Asst. Director 7781, V. President Syva Go. Div. of Syntex Corp. 8185 and is now working as Vice-president of Idetek Inc.

Dr. Singh is an invited speaker of various universities and conferences. He has the honor of getting British Council Award, 69, Can. Commonwealth Scholar, 6366, Fellow Chemistry Society, London and also member of various societies and organizations. Dr. Singh and Mrs. Rajinder Kaur are devoted Sikhs committed to the Sikh cause. They have kept their identity of being Sikhs, throughout their life, in spite of many hardships and pressures. Dr. Singh is a trustee of Sikh Foundation and a founder member of Sikh Temple, Freemont. Singhs are very popular in social and religious circles.

Singhs are proud parents of two sons, Satinder (23) and Harpinder (17).

Dr. Singh is a writer of international repute and contributes regularly on chemistry, religion and political activities.
