BANGALORE: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), on April 16, successfully launched an indigenously developed cryogenic payload for measuring ozone depletion and greenhouse warming substances in the atmosphere, from the National Scientific Payload facility at Hyderabad.

During the ascent as well as the decent the probes were commanded from the ground to collect the ambient samples at various height levels, according to an ISRO release.
